Ever wonder what you’d do in the event of a zombie apocalypse? Imagine it: hordes of undead are shambling towards your community. Where do you go? What supplies would you need? What people would you depend on to help you?

This funny topic is the springing-off point for our new series of discussion programs. Sometimes lighthearted, sometimes deadly (or undeadly) serious–join us to consider “what if…” especially as we move toward Election Day and our civic discussions take on new and more profound depth.

Expect to watch short clips of films, read over “Zombie Preparedness” lists, and discuss both the humorous and more serious realities of disaster planning in our communities. As the Center for Disease Control and FEMA both celebrate “Zombie Awareness Month” this October, we’ll get ready to rumble here in Lomira as well!

This program is aimed at adults, though all ages are welcome to attend, as long as they have a high tolerance of gory zombie imagery!
